This golden award recognizes the commitment of the FCC and all our employees to collaborate in the private-public sector to build long-term relationships to help the municipalities in which FCC work for, to achieve their “zero waste” goals and diverts as much waste as possible from landfills.
FCC is proud to bring to the City of Dallas a state-of-the-art facility that will help the City to meet their ambitious “zero waste” goal: diversion rates of 40% by 2010, 60% by 2030 and 80% (zero waste) by 2040.
The winners, has been selected by an 80-strong judging panel. The P3 Bulleting quotes about the golden award for FCC that “The judges were enthusiastic that this project provides a model for the country for waste reduction. They also considered it to be a highly efficient project, providing a strong solution to a potential growing problem in the US.”
