FCC WINS A FIVE YEAR CONTRACT FOR THE TREATMENT AND MARKETING OF ALL THE RECYCLABLES FOR UNIVERSITY PARK, TEXAS

On November 1, 2016, the City Council of University Park, Texas formally awarded FCC SA with a five year service contract for the treatment and marketing of all the recyclables of the City.

The City of University Park is located in Dallas County with a population of approximately 24,000 residents.  The recyclables will be processed in the new state-of-the-art facility that FCC SA is constructing. This recycling facility is located in Dallas and will begin to process materials on January 1, 2017.

The contract term is for five years, with a service commencement date of January 2, 2017. Additionally, the contract is open to a possible yearly extension for a maximum of five additional years.

FCC SA will process approximately 3,200 tons per year for the City of University Park.
