FCC has been awarded to provide the transportation, treatment and marketing services of the recyclables of the City of Garland, Texas. The total value of the contract is approximately six (6) million dollars with a contract term of up to 5 years.
The City of Garland has a population of 230,000 inhabitants and is one of the largest cities in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. FCC will recycle approximately 10,000 tons of recyclable material in the newly opened MRF located in the City of Dallas.
This contract is the sixth one signed by FCC in the past two years in the US, and is the fourth one in the State of Texas. The total value of these six contracts up to date is approximately 560 million dollars.
