Hillsborough County Council unanimously awarded FCC Environmental Services the collection contract for the County’s Facility buildings on May 18th, 2022. FCC Will service around 293 County Facilities, with over 400 containers.
The term of the contract is 3 years with an associated backlog of $4.2M. The total investment of the project is $1.2M and will add to the over 13 collection routes providing services to 2,181 commercial customers in Hillsborough County. Additionally, this contract will allow multiple County entities to piggyback the collection of solid waste and recycling within the County, further increasing the revenues in Hillsborough.
FCC currently provides residential collection services in Hillsborough County to over 114,000 residences. With this important award, FCC extends its already significant presence in the Florida commercial market.
