June 4, 2023 – Palm Coast, Florida: FCC Environmental Services, a leading solid waste management company, is pleased to announce its new contract commencement to provide residential solid waste collection services to the City of Palm Coast, Florida. The contract, which began on June 1st, 2023, marks a significant milestone for FCC as it extends its presence in the Florida market and strengthens its position as one of the top solid waste companies in the United States.

To which he added “We look forward to the partnership for many years to come, as our team ensures safe and quality services.” Palm Coast, a fast-growing community situated on the east coast of Florida in Flagler County, is home to approximately 90,000 residents. Under the terms of the seven-year contract, FCC will service approximately 40,000 house- holds in Palm Coast, offering collection services for trash, recycling, and yard waste. This expansion will require a fleet of over 30 state-of-the-art compressed natural gas (CNG) collection vehicles, highlighting FCC’s commitment to environmentally friendly practices.
The contract, valued at $115 million, includes an associated backlog and a three-year extension option, which, if exercised, would increase the total backlog to $175 million. This significant investment of $15 million in infrastructure and resources will create 72 new jobs within the Palm Coast community, further contributing to the local economy.
With the addition of Palm Coast, FCC now provides residential services to over 600,000 households in Florida alone, further solidifying its presence in the state. Florida, with a population of over 21 million residents, is one of the largest waste producers in the United States. In the past six months, FCC has secured a total of $2.1 billion in new contracts, underscoring the company’s continued growth and success.
