FCC Environmental Debuts the first “Pink Truck” for Breast Cancer Awareness Month on the First Day of Clay County Service

On October 1st, 2024, FCC Environmental Services debuted its first pink truck in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, also known as “Pink Month”. People worldwide adopt the pink color and display a pink ribbon to raise awareness about the importance of prevention and routine screening for the early diagnosis of breast cancer. FCC Environmental Services CEO Dan Brazil stated: “Our first truck dedicated to the support of our employees and their families dealing with cancer. This is a small token of our company compared to the substantial impacts people and families face from this difficult disease. Since the first day of Pink Month is October 1st, it only felt right for the pink truck’s first debut to be the same day as the Clay County startup.”

FCC Environmental Services is proud to have enthusiastic drivers like Tia Jackson, who are excited to drive the new dedicated pink truck in Clay County. Breast Cancer survivorship awareness is important to Tia, as she has family and close friends who are survivors.

The pink truck is only the beginning, as FCC Environmental Services plans to continue to partner with Clay County and spread awareness and celebrate breast cancer survivors. For more information on Breast Cancer Awareness, visit https://www.nationalbreastcancer.org/breast-cancer-awareness-month.
